Coffee and books.

I couldn’t get my cup of McCafe’s Latte so I got coffee from the canteen and made it my own McCafe :).
So what goes well with coffee? Besides creamer, cocoa and whipped cream. Mmmmm.
Books. That’s what. Or well, it might be the other way around really. And so this page is dedicated to a few good things, erm, two good things: coffee and books.
Join in the celebration. Cheers!

Hallo girls. Welcome to the club. Today I had Coffee Bean’s White Chocolate Latte. Mmm mmm mmmmm!
Anyways, I need to figure out how to make sub-pages show so I can add on stuff. Hmm…
In the meantime, keep the comments coming. Like echoes, brilliant, love! :)
Kawla, you no coffee person yes. You can contribute books then! :P
yay! i’ve found my people (the coffee and books type)! …though i’m more of a hot-chocolate-and-books person.
cool pic btw :D
(woulda been cooler if u had a stack of books next to that mccafe-wannabe cup ;))
My favorite would have to be a Café Mocha with whipped cream and caramel on top. Even though it took 3 months’ worth of coffee-shop ordering before one of my friends pointed out to me that the ‘ch’ isn’t pronounced like the one in ‘cheese.’
Traveller, hot chocolate’s good too. And yeah, took that picture at work - hence no books. Didn’t the stack of papers make up for it? :( :P
Abu Ilyas, lol are you serious? Brits are supposed to have the finest pronunciation! Btw, do you pronounce Café as ka-fey or kaf? I heard “kaf” on an american show and it’s been bugging me!
But man, cocoa and caramel is always good in coffee. Hmm. That’s it man. I have to get the Caramel Latte today! (Hah I initially spelt it as Latter. Get it? Latte later?) I had the Belgian Chocolate Latte last week. Mmmmm.
I’m still trying to find out an ingenious way to salvage this page btw. Heh.
Yeah, but it wasn’t my fault.
I hadn’t seen the word before and just assumed that it was pronounced the way it appeared on the menu. The guys in the coffee shop obviously didn’t want to correct me, as there was a sale involved and it wasn’t until I bought one in front of one of my friends and he took me to one side, saying “Bro, it’s pronounced Mokka.”
I’m very definitely from the ka-fey school of pronunciation. I’m also consistently xenophobic in my interaction with Americanisms of the English language and can even feel a swell of animosity towards the pronunciation kaf, despite only having seen it in print.
